Yesterday we arrived, where? On the shore of Lake Michigan, you say. YESERIE. We rode our bicycles over 2400 miles to Lake Michigan.
For the next three days we'll be truckin' through the UP. Locals call it Yoopers. I was fortunate to find "DaYoopers" glossary so I can better understand the "Yoopanese" language. Don't-ya-know, decaf is when a cow gives birth. "Ole Bessy decafed today." I'm sure this will be very helpful.
One more thing, we passed through none other than "Foster City" yesterday. Here's the picture to prove it.
Tim,
ReplyDeleteGlad to see that you made it to my home state. I highly recommend you all making the small detour to ride around Mackinaw Island. The island is very small but it's beautiful and has great fudge for you all to eat! It's one of the best Michigan places and no cars are allowed on the island.
Theresa
It's on the itinerary. We can't ride bikes across the bridge so have to take the ferry. Should be fun.
