Day 34 - Star Lake to Crystal Falls

Before we get started with today's update, here is a great picture from last night, compliments of Scott. 

Today was hard riding. The hills were small but very steep and our legs were like rubber. Also part of the road was so bad it shook our teeth loose.  Still, there were moments of beauty as we've seen every day. 

We've entered our sixth state, "Pure" Michigan. Tomorrow we arrive in Escanaba on the shore of Lake Michigan and will enjoy the day off as we'll be there two nights. Our bodies need a break.

We stopped briefly at the little community to enjoy their Blues Festival and to reconnoiter.
