We were totally surprised by what we found. No cars are allowed on the island, only bikes and horses. It was an incredible. The first thing we did was to find a breakfast place. We discovered the Chuck Wagon.
Then we rode down main street and around the island. It felt like we transported back in time to horse and buggy days.
We had fifty miles to go after the ferry took us to the lower peninsula of MI. The weather was once again great, the scenery was awesome and we had lunch on Lake Mi at a place called Legs, started by a Polish immigrant and now a "must see".
And the trees are beginning to turn.
Looks like you had a good stop at Mackinaw Island. I'm happy to see that you all got to go there and ride around the island.
