As promised here are a few more pictures of Bay City and our rest day. Turns out there are very nice beaches on Lake Huron at Bay City Recreation Area.
Then today we rode out of Bay City and found Frankenmuth, a Bavarian style community similar to Leavenworth in Washington. We enjoyed the bakery as you can see.
Here Terry and Steve had their next Christmas picture taken.
We discovered a covered bridge, "Holz Brucke."
And the streets were decorated with flowers.
And we are fortunate to have a resident photographer along, Tom. Here is a great shot taken on one of the Michigan lakes.
